After installation or reset, allow 24 hours for the first ice batch. The ice maker produces about 8 cubes every 90-120 minutes once running normally.

Old filters restrict water flow, produce cloudy ice, and can harbor bacteria. Even if your water looks clean, minerals and contaminants build up. Replace every 6 months or when the indicator light shows.

The test button forces an ice-making cycle immediately (instead of waiting for the normal cycle). Use it after installation or replacing the water filter to check if everything works. Don't use it repeatedly as it can damage the mechanism.

Yes, but install a water filter designed for hard water. Hard water causes mineral buildup that can clog the ice maker and create cloudy ice. Descale every 6 months in hard water areas.
